She received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in chemical engineering and went on to study medicine at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she graduated with distinction in medical education. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, where she won two outstanding teaching awards.
