Gynecological Surgical Care
RMA of New York is dedicated to providing reproductive surgical management of a wide range of gynecological conditions that affect our patients.
While many gynecological conditions can be medically managed, when surgery is required, it can be accomplished by one of our specialty trained reproductive endocrinologists and infertility specialists, or by our minimal invasive surgeon, Dr. Leigh Rosen.
Conditions that our team is able to surgically manage include:
- Polyps
- Ovarian Cysts
- Endometriosis
- Pelvic Pain
- Fibroids
- Uterine Anomalies
- Abnormal Bleeding
- Uterine Prolapse
- Asherman’s Syndrome
What is Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery?
Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery allows for surgical procedures to be performed in the most precise and effective way, while being associated with less pain, fewer complications, and a shorter recovery time. For many pelvic procedures, this approach allows the surgeon to use very few small incisions to insert a small camera connected to a magnifying lens into the pelvis. The camera provides the surgeon with a clear and magnified view that allows them to precisely and efficiently complete the procedure.
Benefits of minimally invasive gynecological surgery:
- Smaller incisions
- Quicker recovery
- Lower risk of infection
- Shorter hospital stay
