Make an AppointmentDr. Atoosa Ghofranian grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California, San Diego where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Human Biology and graduated Magna cum Laude. She spent a year working at The Scripps Research Institute as part of the Committee on the Neurobiology of Addictive Disorders before moving to Washington D.C. to start medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Ghofranian completed her OB/GYN residency training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her research interests include fertility preservation, oncofertility and reproductive surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, investigative journalism and pilates.
