In an effort to provide patients with helpful resources and reliable information, RMA of New York compiled a list of organizations and websites that can provide fertility information and assistance, as well as online support to you.
REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE SOCIETIES
The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the science and practice of reproductive medicine. Physicians join ASRM as members and must demonstrate the high ethical principles of the medical profession, and engage in the practice of and research in reproductive medicine.
The Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) is the primary organization of professionals dedicated to the practice of IVF, or assisted reproductive technology (ART). The mission of SART is to establish and maintain standards for ART so that patients receive the highest possible level of care. SART includes more than 90% of the ART clinics in the country, and SART clinics meet the highest standards for quality, safety and patient care.
The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) aims to promote interest in, and understanding of, reproductive biology and medicine. It does this through facilitating research and subsequent dissemination of research findings in human reproduction and embryology to the general public, scientists, clinicians and patient associations.
PATIENT ADVOCACY & SUPPORT
RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association was founded in 1974, and is a national patient advocacy organization. RESOLVE provides free support groups in more than 200 communities; is the leading patient advocacy voice; and serves as the go-to organization for anyone challenged in their family building.
Path2Parenthood (formerly The American Fertility Association) is an inclusive organization committed to helping people create their families by providing leading-edge outreach programs and timely educational information. The scope of P2P’s work encompasses reproductive health, infertility prevention and treatment, and family-building options, including adoption and third party solutions.

Melissa B. Brisman, Esq. – Reproductive Lawyer
Melissa Brisman, Esq. is a reproductive lawyer who helps clients with the legal side of third party reproduction- egg donation, sperm donation, and gestational carriers. She has been helping couples become parents since 1996.
Donor Egg Bank USA
Donor Egg Bank USA is a network of the most respected and premier fertility practices in the United States and Internationally. In response to the growing need for a nationwide database of diverse egg donors, Donor Egg Bank USA was launched to assist fertility patients in their dream of having a baby, with the added convenience of a quicker treatment process. In 2016, California Cryobank merged with Donor Egg Bank USA to create Donor Egg Bank USA at California Cryobank.
Founded in 1977, California Cryobank (CCB) is a full-service sperm bank providing a comprehensive resource for frozen donor sperm, private semen cryopreservation, and specialized reproductive services (including egg and embryo storage and artificial insemination guidance).
Fairfax Cryobank was originally organized in 1986 to provide patients at the Genetics & IVF Institute with anonymous frozen donor semen that had a higher standard of genetic and infectious donor screening and sperm quality than could be obtained elsewhere. Upon request from patients and physicians, the Cryobank also began providing semen freezing and storage for patients for future use.

The Center fosters a welcoming environment where everyone is celebrated for who they are. The Center offers the LGBT communities of NYC health and wellness programs; arts, entertainment and cultural events; recovery, wellness, parenthood and family support services.

Single Mothers by Choice (SMC) was founded by Jane Mattes, L.C.S.W., a psychotherapist and single mother by choice, in 1981.Since then, over 30,000 thinkers, tryers, and mothers have enjoyed the benefits of membership.
A TIME is the premier, internationally acclaimed organization that offers advocacy, education, guidance, research and support through our many programs to Jewish men, women, and couples struggling with reproductive health and infertility.
Bonei Olam maintains 18 regional chapters in 5 countries around the world. Each year, Bonei Olam provides millions of dollars in financial assistance to cover the prohibitive costs of fertility treatments and medical procedures. To date, over 5,000 children have been brought into the world through the financial assistance and resources provided by Bonei Olam.
The world-renowned PUAH Institute, under the guidance of Rabbi Menachem Burstein, provides counseling, referrals and support, free-of-charge, to all those seeking professional help. The YinOva Center
The YinOva Center is an alternative medical center specializing in acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and massage. Christine Cyriacks, L.Ac. is a licensed Acupuncturist who has been practicing acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine for 10 years, with a main focus on fertility.
Dr. Yang and Dr. Liu Acupuncture
Dr. Yang and Dr. Liu are licensed master practitioners of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine and are PhDs, MDs from China. Both trained for 11 years in a full-time MD and PhD Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine program. They are chief physicians in the field of gynecology and internal medicine, and are teaching professors training prospective acupuncturists at acupuncture schools in NYC.

Kristin McGee – Yoga & Fitness for Fertility
Kristin McGee is a certified Yoga and Pilates Instructor, as well as an ACE certified personal trainer. Kristin teaches group classes and private clients in NYC. She has shared her extensive fitness knowledge on several television programs including CNN, The CBS Morning Show and ABC’s Good Morning America. She is Health Magazine’s Contributing Yoga/Fitness Editor and has also contributed to Pilates Style, Fit Yoga, Self and In Style.
New York Sports Club (59th & Park Ave)
Conveniently located next door to RMA of New York’s Manhattan office, New York Sports Club offers specialized fertility fitness classes and personal training sessions for individuals and small groups. NYSC’s Master Trainer, Nancy Jusino, offers fitness programs specifically designed for women during the fertility treatment process and throughout pregnancy. The programs are geared towards maintaining flexibility, building endurance using light weights and elastic bands, and relieving stress and tension.

FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered
FORCE’s mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by hereditary breast, ovarian, and related cancers by creating awareness, supplying information and support to the community, advocating for and supporting research and working with the research and medical communities.
SHARE is a national nonprofit that supports educates, and empowers women affected by breast or ovarian cancer, with a special focus on medically underserved communities. Our mission is to create and sustain a supportive community of women affected by breast or ovarian cancer.
Sharsheret is a national not-for-profit organization supporting young Jewish women and their families facing breast cancer. Our mission is to offer a community of support to women, of all Jewish backgrounds, diagnosed with breast cancer or at increased genetic risk, by fostering culturally-relevant individualized connections with networks of peers, health professionals, and related resources.

Susan G.
