Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York
Dr. Jane Ruman will be the guest speaker of the evening. Dr. Ruman will discuss family building options for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender singles and couples interested in starting a family. Topics for the evening will include the role of the reproductive endocrinologist, the medical and logistical aspects of known and anonymous egg and sperm donation, legal rights of donors and same-sex couples, second-parent adoption and more. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask individual questions.

Dr. Ruman is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Obstetrics and Gynecology and has authored many papers on the management of infertility in women. Dr. Ruman feels privileged to serve single women and same sex couples and offer the most patient-appropriate treatment. Options include intrauterine inseminations using donor sperm with or without ovulation induction and in vitro fertilization, as well as advanced technologies such as egg freezing and ovum donation.
