Dr. Jane Ruman

Dr. Jane Ruman is Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is on staff at Mount Sinai Hospital and practices in 3 locations: Garden City, Manhattan, and in Astoria, Queens. Patients requiring advanced reproductive technologies such as IVF, ICSI, egg donation or PGD will utilize the state of the art laboratory at RMA of New York in midtown Manhattan for their egg retrieval and embryo transfer procedures. Dr. Ruman obtained her Bachelors of Science in Biology with Distinction from Duke University. She received her medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where she participated in nationally recognized research on factors that control embryo implantation. Dr. Ruman then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and finished her Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University. She has published many award-winning articles on infertility treatment and egg donation.

Dr. Ruman is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
